EZQuest Cobra FireWire 800 USB II Drives

With the release of Apples new Panther operating system. Some FireWire 800 Users may experiience some difficulties using their drives. Many users have reported data loss and corrupion. Some users even reported losing thier drives off their desktop. Apple Computer, Inc. released word that they had a problem that was traced down to firmware. Apple Computer has determined that Oxford 922 chipsets with a firmware of v 1.02 and earlier are succeptible to data loss. These drives need to be updated with the latest firmware to avoid problems.
